Foundry Die casting
Die casting Foundry
Use
Components can be produced faster
and with an excellent finish, creating extremely thin
parts that are unthinkable with other casting technologies.
Technical characteristics
Excellent mechanical characteristics
and resistance
combined with great aesthetic quality, since die casting guarantees an excellent surface finish.
VACUUM
The vacuum
die casting process eliminates
any problems
related to blowholes
and gas presence
during the casting process
Production facilities
Our foundries are equipped
with presses
ranging from 250 to 4,500 Tonnes
for the production of a wide range of components, from very light
objects measuring only a few centimetres, to parts
that can reach a few tens of kilograms
and two metres in diameter. All the presses are fully automatic
and robotised
with an anthropomorphic, machine tending robot and holding furnace.
Production
Once the moulding phase is finished, the raw components are sheared
and then transferred to the finishing phase, where the part is cleaned
and sandblasted
according to the client's needs.
We have numerous shearing machines
in different sizes and various sandblasting machines
Controls and analysis
The testing laboratory
is an integral part of the production process. This allows the metallurgical
and structural
levels of production to be kept under control, in compliance with UNI standards.
High expectations
After these phases, the product can be subjected to specific treatments
so as to guarantee better aesthetic
and mechanical qualities. We can carry out different treatments, such as: thermal treatment, used to obtain a product with peak resistance and hardness properties such as T4, T5 and T6.
