Cast iron foundries

Every cast iron foundry part of the AB Fonderie Italia network produces green sand, resin sand and Disamatic castings. Each foundry specialises in specific types of manufacturing, from small productions or micro series of cast iron castings, to medium and large batches of products

Technologies

We are equipped with highly flexible technologies and structures. The facilities are equipped with automatic plate changing technology that makes it easier to change models.. By having facilities of different sizes and with manual moulding departments, we can supply grey cast iron and ductile iron castings from 0.1 to 15,000 kg with various shapes, sizes and quantities. 

Training 

We pay great attention to the training of our personnel, both in safety and technical matters, in order to find the best casting systems and learn to detect possible product defects.

Castings

Cast iron castings that vary in thicknesses, in the weights and in dimensional sizes  from a few millimeters to several meters in diameter; from few to grams up beyond 4.000 kg. of weight.

Quality certifications

Every cast iron foundry in our group is certified and has decades of experience in multiple productive sectors. Specifically, our foundries produce cast iron castings in all sizes and weights, with alloys suitable for each specification.

AB Fonderie Italia manages the environmental aspects of its activity in accordance with the law and the indications defined by the technical documents from the Best Available Techniques, in order to limit its impact on the different environments
